Hi!

My name is Markus, Norwegian of heritage and geographical location, and have been working as a designer for some time now. I guess my first experience with design was with a paint-like programme when I was 7 or 8 at my cousins computer — and from then I’ve never given up on pursuing the art of digital design.

Published my first bit of HTML code 12 years ago, and boy was it amazing. I found out about <center></center> and <blink></blink>. It sure was a beaut’.

After that Graphic Design became the educational path, and I believe the correct title I carry today is Media Designer.

Regardless of title and background, I basically work at designing whatever my clients want me to design, and when I get spare time on occasion, I design what I want to design myself.

Thus this wee blog, to spew my thoughts and moods whenever the opportunity arises.

Professionally I work as a freelance designer, both towards print and web, so I have a varied customer base. Working mostly with three large corporations who all tug at me for designs on a daily basis. I also do the odd job for other clients, but mostly the three are more than enough to keep me busy.
